If you are unable to recover lost/inaccessible data from a quick scan, or in case the data loss is severe, then choose a deep scan to scan the deleted or corrupted volume thoroughly.
NOTE: Deep scan is only available for Connected Drives.
The deep scan option is available on the bottom left of the Select Location screen.
Once the deep scan option is enabled, click on Scan, and a screen showing the scanning process is displayed. After the scanning process gets completed, details of the lost or deleted files and folders are displayed in a dialog box.
NOTE: Since a deep scan thoroughly scans a drive, it can take a longer time to complete. In this case, you may choose to pause recovery and resume it later at any time.
